There are wool fabrics that are treated with the so-called “Superwash” finish to prevent felting in the washing machine. However, this treatment involves a chemical finish that largely neutralises the outstanding natural properties of wool, such as its self-cleaning ability and breathability. For this reason, we deliberately refrain from offering Superwash-treated wool fabrics in our range – instead, you will find only natural and authentic wool fabrics in our shop.
