The distinctive waffle weave gives the fabric a lively, three-dimensional surface – airy, absorbent and soft to the touch. This texture becomes even more pronounced after the first wash: the fabric visibly gains volume, becomes more supple and takes on greater depth.

This effect is accompanied by a comparatively high shrinkage, which should be taken into account during processing. It is precisely this change that underlines the material’s special character and ensures its typical softness and body.
