Poplin and percale belong to the finer woven cotton fabrics, yet differ in their use. Poplin is lightweight, smooth and dimensionally stable - perfect for blouses, shirts, summer clothing and children's wear. Available in a wide range of colours, it shows colours off brilliantly. It also serves as a fine cotton lining, ensuring pleasant wearing comfort. Percale, on the other hand, is particularly tightly woven (down-proof) and even more robust. It is mainly used for high-quality bed linen and duvet covers, or as a natural lining for clothing. Produced in organic quality, both fabrics offer a sustainable alternative for long-lasting, skin-friendly textiles. Poplin is also suitable as a lightweight curtain fabric; however, with strong sunlight, an additional lining is recommended to prevent fading.
